Details, Details... Honeymooners Saga Continues

OMG Today marks the 2 month mark until our wedding!!! It seems like just yesterday was the 6 month mark until our wedding....man does time fly!!

Well, well, well...what do we have done?

* Location

I bought that like 2 months after the proposal :O) see picture

* Blessing Ceremony Dress

2 of my original girls are going YAAHHH!!!

* Bridesmaid dresses
the girls purchased them & have them already

* Ceremony Location
The gazebo is tooo beautiful (see picture)

* Reception Location
We are having a private reception for our 15 guests going!! It will give us an opportunity to have our first dance & party!!!


Okay so what do we still need to do?

* Invitations
We have our vendor & we've seen a sample of the invite. Now we just have to get the wording for our blessing ceremony approved by our pastor, then send it to our vendor then we are in BUSINESS!

* Grooms suit

* Groomsmen suits

* Cake
It comes with our package, but we need to let the caterer know how we want it. When we arrive in the DR we will see pictures & they will let them know

* Welcome bags
I know I should pack light, but I think welcome bags would be a nice way of saying thank you to our guests

* Hair & Make-up
My mom can do my make-up I just need to ask her & as far as my hair is concerned I have NO idea! I've heard the Dominicans can do hair well, but I'm not sure I want to risk it.

* Flowers
I know in our package we get a bridal bouquet & bout for the groom, but I need to see how many other bouquets come in our package.

* Paperwork
We are still unsure of what paperwork we are supposed to have translated. We are supposed to be getting married before we head out, so we need to talk to someone about that. I keep trying to tell our wedding coordinator that we are doing all the paperwork in the States, but I don't think she fully understands what I am saying. AAAuUUUGGG!!! That's a whole other story

* Veil
I guess when I have my final fitting I'll buy it then.

* Shoes
For both the wedding & blessing ceremony

* jewelry
Hubby to be ring, my jewelry, bridesmaid jewelry


Man it seems like my need to do list is MUCH longer than my already done list!!! I better get to work!!!!!
