Moving to a new place is never really easy for us women. Aside from finding a new place and restaurants, we have to find spas, hair salons, and many other things to keep us entertained. I’ve been living in Brooklyn, NY for only three weeks and I have found the most amazing place for beauty and fun.

Hawa is a cosmetic boutique owned by Hawa A. and J. Alexander Martin. Walking home one day I found Hawa cosmetics. What captured my attention was the beauty and colors of the salon. It wasn’t until I was invited in by Ms. Hawa A. that I felt this could be a beauty “home” for me.

During my visit Hawa started my skin was first refreshed with water and while apply makeup I was walked through each beauty tip. She told me what type of makeup was being applied and why it was healthy for my skin. So not only was Hawa great with her hospitality but she was also very informative.
