This Weekend at the BET Awards festivities we had the pleasure of meeting this amazing couple that I will call "The Honeymooner", their sense of humor is not only contagious but down right outrageous.
Chineye and Rickey are not only planning their wedding, they also operate Chineye's dessert business together.

I know traditionally the bridal party is responsible for this, but I like to party plan. I am also involved in the planning process since our wedding has gotten moved to the DR I don't have that much to plan anymore & I miss the planning. My sister who is the MOH said that once I told her we were changing that she knew I would be doing that. So needless to say I am back in the planning mode.
Now I am not planning the entire thing, but the decorations are my responsibility. The games, food (even though I did tell them what I would like to eat...which will be mexican food), and prizes are left up to the girls. Since the girls have a bridal fund they will go out and get the decorations based on my ideas. We are all good at budgeting & I still love DIY projects so I will be looking for those types of decorations.
Soooo the theme will be an all white party with splashes of zebra print and turquoise!! We will be asking the guests to wear white & I will wear a turquoise!!!
Here are some of the ideas that I just fell in love with: tissue paper pompoms in zebra print & turquiose, zebra print table runner, carnation ball centerpieces, instead of circle tables using rectangular tables....I can't wait to start doing a trial run of all my ideas!!!
